Rocket League: Let's get ready to rumble! Neuer kostenloser Spielmodus für Rocket League angekündigt

Im September wird der Megahit Rocket League um einen weiteren kostenlosen Spielmodus erweitert. Das gab Entwickler Psyonix nun auf der offiziellen Website zum Spiel bekannt.

Der Rumble Mode wird vom Entwickler als "epischer Battle Royal" mit zufallsgenerierten Power Ups bezeichnet bezeichnet. Hierzu werden insgesamt elf neue Power Ups hinzugefügt. Wie "Hoops" und "Mutator" wird der Rumble Mode sowohl in den Online Playlisten als auch bei privaten und Exhibition Matches verfügbar sein.



Hier eine Übersicht der neuen Power Ups:

• The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car)
• Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably)
• Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place)
• Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball)
• Haymaker (Punches the ball)
• Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car)
• Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord)
• Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder)
• Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it)
• Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent)
• Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud)
